A Primitive and Life Skills Gathering held in the North Cascades Wildlands. Encouraging re-connecting and re-wilding through ancient living skills and craft that link us all to our ancestors. Promoting self-sufficiency, community building, and deep connection to the land and all beings. Four Seasons Prehistoric Projects teaches people how to live sustainably at the stone age level. We strive to "live" in the wilderness, rather than "survive" it to get back to civilization. I studied with Frank and Karen Sherwood taking both of their apprenticeships and most of their weekend classes. Their experience and knowledge in the field of Wilderness Survival, Ethnobotany, and basketry make them a priceless jewel in the Pacific Northwest. My advice is to take classes with them ASAP. Especially the weekend survival techniques and Coastal Foraging. Wilderness Awareness School Offering classes for both adults and children in naturalist training. If you have children I highly recommended sending them to the summer camps. It'll be the most amazing summer they've ever had. MISC I love the town I live in!
